(More customer reviews)I swim laps daily in a gym pool that is heavily chlorinated. I have tried dozens of suits and this one is my favorite - it is comfortable and looks nice on as well. These suits break down quickly without proper care, but with a chlorine removing wash after each use and rotating suits they last 2-3 months for me. I'm 32 yrs, 5'7", 36 DD chest. I buy a 40 and it fits perfectly. The hips are cut high for range of motion, but there is still somehow ample seat coverage. the back is cut low and wide which keeps me from feeling like a granny when I wear a one piece. The shoulder straps are wide and well placed - I get adequate chest support. Women with smaller chests may find a different strap system / swimsuit more comfortable. I've tried every color as well. They all look great. Quality and sizing has always been consistent.

Bad: Leg and arm sleeve edges are simply finished with a non-sealing material. Would allow water to more easily free flow through the edges. This might be fine for some, but if I want more cool water in the suit I prefer to crack the neck seal momentarily.
I bought the US Divers Mercury shorty as well for around $10 less (Xlarge) from Amazon and will be using that instead. This one is going back.

(More customer reviews)The suit is cut so oddly that the front and back droop. I didn't get into the water with it, but it would surely have billowed to look even more ridiculous. The sizing is about 2 sizes off compared to similar TYR and Speedo suits. I tried the 34 instead of the 36, but it had the same droopy problem even though it fit better around the waist. The legs are cut so large they can't keep "the boys" inside the suit. My legs aren't small, and most other suits are almost uncomfortable around the legs. I suppose the suit would be great for someone with body builder legs, a thick waist, and serious lipodystrophy or elephantitis. So far, I recommend this suit http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0006UZWDE/ref=ord_cart_shr?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER, and it's ten dollars cheaper.

Swimsafe Floatsuit - Navy/Electric Blue Size 2-3 Review

We liked the fact that it was a full bodysuit swim float device as some of the strap-on chest-only or arm-only floaters carried a risk of riding up above the head and actually becoming a drowning risk. But the material is a very stretchable lycra or spandex type of material. Our son is on the thin side so when he wears the outfit it is loose fitting and stretches. That causes the floatation material in the chest and back to rise up as he sinks down, basically what we were worried about, as we just mentioned. So actually it does very little to help him float, we still end up holding him afloat which defeats the purpose we bought this item. Now granted, I *fully* realize that these type of things should NEVER be used in an unsupervised fashion to leave kids alone in the pool, I also know that it is not meant as a safety device to fully keep them afloat. But as something we hoped would give him some more autonomy, so he could get comfortable in the water without us holding him up all the time, it didn't really work. So I think if you can try it on and know that it fits very snugly it should work great, but buyer beware, if it is at all too loose I think you'll find it really is a waste of time any money. A floating ring with leg hole or a seat for your toddler to sit in might be a safer investment when buying online without the chance to try it on.

(More customer reviews)We have been looking for a wetsuit for our youngest and have been eyeing the O'Neill Reactor and Henderson thermoprene suits which typically run around $60 retail. This Hyperflex suit is 2mm thickness as opposed to the 3mm thickness of the thermoprene, but it is still made by Henderson and appears to have absolutely outstanding initial quality. I would venture to say that this suit looks to be as nice or nicer than the O'Neill Reactor suit, which is markedly more in cost. If you are considering this suit, do a thorough web search and you may even be able to find it on sale somewhere or with free shipping.

I returned 2 swimsuits because the size won't fit and there were no other size available. I only receive $11 back for a #47 purchase. I called them several times asking for the reasons, and they gave me different answer every time. They promised to send me a gift cert for the remaining value. And I called them several times to find out when the gift cert will be sent, I never got the gift cert!
I called them at least 5 times for over a month period, and so far they haven't done anything that they promise to do.
Very disappointing experience, I think I will give up on this and just not buy anything from them in the future.

Aqua Sphere Stingray 2mm Youth Core Warmer Review

(More customer reviews)I bought a youth 8 size for my 7 year old boy and we just returned from almost 2 weeks in Mexico where this got near constant use. The boy is as skinny as a rail and while a strong swimmer had to bow out of an ocean snorkle trip last year after 45 minutes because he got too cold - so we figured that getting him a wet suit would help him last longer in the pool and in the ocean. The Aqua Sphere Stingray kids shorty wetsuit is well made, with nice lycra stretch panels at legs and shoulders and neck and a good neoprene wetsuit torso. There's a big beefy zipper and a velcro zipper lock at the top. None of the stitching or construction showed any sign of weakness in the first couple of weeks of use and it certainly did help the boy stay warm in the ocean and the pool. It also helped with solar cover up. When he wore the suit it protected all his body except limbs and face from sun burn.
There were only 2 downsides:
1) Leg opening cuffs too tight. I pulled and stretched them out as much as I dared and that helped - but there were still a bit tight. This is suprising because the boy is skinny as a rail and I bought one size up and it fits him otherwise. I'm considering cutting a notch and then doing my own reinforcement stitching (if I can find the requisite stretch lycra thread.
2) The neoprene grips on waterslides so he had to take it off when using waterslides - which definitely put in crimp in the usefulness on waterslide days.
All in all well recommended for kids for a wide range of circumstances. Consider going one to two sizes up to account for the tight legs.

He usually wears a size 30 for practice and regular meets, and after debating going down a size as the manufacturer suggests, I ended up going with size 30. It fits very snug, and barely covers his bottom when he bends over to dive in. My son likes this suit; he says it helps prevent fatigue. He will wear it for the States coming up.

(More customer reviews)The material seems fine, but the fit is completely wrong. The leg holes of the inner suit are not very elastic and cut too small. I wear a confortably loose 36 waist in most everything with a belt. I tried a 36 and 38 and neither fit properly. The waist is much too large and the leg opening are not designed (in size or flexibility of sizing) for anyone not of average or smaller thighs. I was a swimmer in HS and college, but at 6'2" 225 have always been bigger than my teammates. This suit is NOT for bigger guys, athletically built or otherwise. I'm sure the suit works well for 90% of the population, but if your size falls into the upper or lower 5%, look elsewhere.

The first time I wore it I got into the water for a lesson but I noticed in the shower that the lettering was falling off, I only have half of one left and a few random bits a pieces. Looks bad. The top is like a typical sports bra and offers more support so I'll wear it with another suite. The bottoms have a draw string that will keep it on your hips but that's never been a problem for me. Minus the lettering I would give it 5 stars.
